Another project on the immediate list is the re wiring of the canteen and it's two old school switch boards. This is a priority and should be completed before the first game which is a home game and the Canteen will be in full swing. A new drinks fridge is also trying to be sourced to replace the old noisy one.
New HOT WATER System
A new GAS hot water system has been installed at the back of the club house which provides instant hot water to both change rooms and the umpires room. The old electric heating system was leaking and used a big amount of electricity. Thank you to Rick Grillett for your expertise.
In February 2015 the old historic gates on Cornish Terrace were pulled down for a "make over". The concrete pillars were removed and the opening was cleaned up. New bricks were sourced for the pillars and was greatfully rebuilt. The gates were sanded back and certain parts replaced with new steel to acomplish the new look. The club would like to thank everyone involved in getting this task done, and our valuable sponsor Viterra.
New KITCHEN Oven
Late last year (2014) the club purchased a brand new commercial kitchen oven for the kitchen. The old one decided it had had enough. It was a great effort by the guys pulling out the old one and installing the new one and the Club thanks everyone again for that effort.
There are opportunities for any member to help out in the kitchen.
The visitors change rooms received an upgrade in 2015 - many thanks to all volunteers for the valued time and skills to achieve this goal.
