Auskick

Ages 5–7

First Kicks

Saturday morning fundamentals. No scores, no pressure. Just running, kicking and laughing.

Ages 7–9

Under 9

First match-day jumper. Bridging Auskick and competition footy with modified rules and a 9am bounce.

U11

Ages 9–11

Under 11

Modified rules and full grades. First taste of YPFL competition with weekly fixtures.

U14

Ages 12–14

Under 14

Full-field football, structured training. Where many lifelong Bulldogs careers begin.

U17

Ages 15–17

Under 17

Senior pathway prep. Pre-season with the B Grade. Some debut for A-Grade in their final year.

A-Grade

18+

Senior Football

B Grade and A-Grade. The same red, white and blue your dad wore. And his dad before him.

Auskick · Ages 5–7

Saturday mornings.No scores, all fun.

Auskick is the start of every Bulldog's footy life. Saturday mornings on the main oval, running through fundamentals — bouncing, marking, kicking, running and laughing.

No score is kept. Every kid gets the ball. Every kid gets a high five. It's organised by AFL Auskick and run by our junior coaches with parent volunteers.

What you need to know

When: Saturdays · 9:00–10:00 AM · April through August
Where: Wallaroo Oval main ground, Cornish Terrace
Cost: One-off AFL Auskick fee (~$80) includes the kit, footy and insurance
Kit included: Auskick footy, t-shirt, water bottle, drawstring bag

Junior Grades · Ages 7–17

From U9 to U17.

Modified rules at U9 and U11. Full-field structured football from U14. Senior Colts (U17) bridges into B-Grade pre-season for the next year.

U9 — First match-day jumper

9:00 AM bounce. Smaller field. Modified rules. The bridge between Auskick and real footy.

U11 — Full YPFL competition

9:00 AM bounce. Full grades, weekly fixtures, modified rules. First real ladder position.

U14 / Junior Colts

10:00 AM bounce. Full-field football, structured training Wednesday afternoons. Where many lifelong Bulldogs careers begin.

U17 / Senior Colts

11:20 AM bounce. Pre-season runs with the B-Grade. Some debut for A-Grade in their final year. Pathway into senior football.
